Tantra is often translated as “to weave” and in somatic channeling, that’s exactly what we do: we weave the bodies energy back into coherent flow. This mystical, trance-based art awakened in Lorna in March 2025, and she has been honing the modality ever since.
Complementary to the tantric tradition, somatic channeling works with the human energy field to gently dissolve density, stuck, held, or congested energy, so vitality, presence, and pleasure can move more freely. By entering a trance-like state and following the body’s innate intelligence, Lorna allows the work to move through sensation, subtle impulse, and energetic guidance. Through her own practice, she met and unwound personal blockages firsthand, discovering how much aliveness becomes available when these densities are liberated.
In the first six months of The Mystery School training, students learn to become “the hollow bone” - a clear, receptive channel, so they can support another person’s energy field with integrity and skill.
Lorna will also be participating in a live channeled performance, Spirit Move Me, in Joshua Tree in May 2026, created by Mystery School graduate Harriet Woodman.
It’s fascinating how interactive energy can be - how it seems to respond with surprising precision to intention, and even to direct requests.
In the session in the video on the left, a clear intention was set for the intelligence to work specifically with any densities in Lorna’s biofield, since previous practice sessions had felt more like channeled movement or transmission than “energy work.” Almost immediately, the hands were magnetized toward the throat for the entire session, as if working to lift a boulder from that chakra.
